The Lion and the Hunter

There is an African adage which says that, "Until the lion learns how to read and write, the hunter will always be the hero of the story." Africa has a lot of positive stories and histories that need to be told. Many of our youth are ignorant of the rich cultural heritage of different African ethnic groups. Our generation needs to be informed and they in turn will educate the unborn generations.

 We, the editorial team of The New African Pages blog believe that "reading will seriously damage your ignorance" as the saying goes. We also believe that ignorance has hung around our necks as Africans for too long like an albatross as far as our culture, history, policies and historic figures are concerned.  It may be because we have had little or no access to this kind of information.

So, T-NAPs blog is here to throw light on the success stories in the dark, dig up the covered rich culture and above all inspire our fellow Africans to greatness. Ignorance has won for too long.
